This is my self portrait that represents my personality and interests. This was taken at my favourite dance studio, Balletomane. I'm wearing my purple leotard which helps the main focus of the photo stand out. Along with the leo I'm wearing a skirt that I hold closely to me since it was my costume for a bedlas competition that I took part of last year. I found an amazing opportunity to learn how to choreograph my own piece of choreography to perform on stage in front of an audience. Dance has been a huge part of life since I was three years old and now I dance about 18 hours a week. As you can tell by the photo dance makes me happy and I enjoy doing it with my friends. It represents me well since it's where I spend a lot of my time and it shows my artistic side that not many people see. Before the photo was taken I turned the lights off in the studio for more of a contract up against the window. Since I took this on my iphone it was easy to make sure the light was correct by simply taping the screen. To edit this photo I turned down the exposure, added more contrast and centered the photo.
